St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm

The museum’s development was funded by the Swanson Family Foundation and the One-Time State Funding Project. The museum is operated by the St. George City government, which has an advisory board, and the nonprofit DinosaurAH!thorium Foundation. Its expansion began in 2010, and the foundation plans to double the size of its exhibit space in the coming years.
Hundreds of thousands of dinosaur tracks and fossils have been found at this site. The site is also home to a working fossil preparation laboratory. Fortunately, the discovery site is not just for geologists, but also for kids! There are puzzles and activities to help children learn more about dinosaurs.
St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm Utah is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Mondays from 10 am to 5 pm. The site is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, but is open daily during the summer months. Children ages four and up are welcome. Admission is $5 per person.
